Frequency
On the recommendations of the external reviewers, articles are published online when ready for publication and after the double-blind peer review process. The publication process usually takes 60-90 days. Additional issues may be published for special events (e.g. conferences) and when special themes are addressed. At the end of the year, the complied articled published in one file.
Peer Review Policy
There is a strict Peer Review Policy to ensure the quality and authenticity of articles. All received papers are passed through the Double Blind Peer Review Process and then accepted keeping in view the specified standards for publication in The International Journal of Information Management Science (IJIMS).
To save precious time for authors and peer-reviewers, all submitted articles are critically read by any of the editorial board members. After initial selection by the editorial board members, the papers are sent to peer-reviewers for final decision. In the light of reviewers’ recommendations, the decision may take place in the shape of the Acceptance of the paper, minor/major revision, and rejection of the paper.
Open Access
IJIMS has an open-access policy under a license Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (). It allows readers to utilize all content without any charges but with the permission of the concerned authors. This open-access policy not only enhances the readership of any article but also supports the knowledge economy.
Plagiarism Policy
The journal has a zero-tolerance policy against plagiarism. We follow the HEC similarity index policy for all the submitted manuscripts. A total 19% similarity index is allowed but the single source should not increase 4% including AI sources.
