Article Publishing Charges (APCs)
Since 2017, the International Journal of Information Management and Systems (IJIMS) has been publishing articles without levying any publication charges. However, due to rising operational costs and increasing expenditures, the journal announces the introduction of Article Processing Charges (APCs), effective January 1, 2025. The APCs will be applied as per the following rates:
Category |
At the time of submission |
At the time of publication |
For foreign authors |
$20/= |
$50/= |
For Pakistani authors |
PKRs5000/= |
PKRs10,000/= |
All articles featured IJIMS are open access to everyone at no cost and are available online immediately after publication. This open access is facilitated by an Article Processing Charge (APC), which supports the comprehensive range of publishing services we offer. These services include providing advanced online tools for both editors and authors, ensuring high-quality article production and hosting, coordinating with abstracting and indexing platforms, and delivering excellent customer support.
If an article passes the initial editorial review and qualifies for further consideration, the author(s) are required to pay a processing fee of US $20 for international authors or PK Rs. 5000/- for Pakistani authors. Following the successful completion of a rigorous double-blind peer-review process, articles accepted for publication necessitate an additional fee. This includes a charge of US $50 for foreign authors or PK Rs. 10,000/- for Pakistani authors, which covers professional editing and formatting to meet publishing standards.
